Lt. Clint Pollock administers the patrol division. He has four patrol sergeants under his supervision who command the patrol squads. The patrol officers provide coverage 24 hours a day seven days a week including all holidays. The patrol division consists of 27 officers including the supervisors. The officers are scheduled according to a day / hour breakdown of all police activity to provide the optimum number of officers during the busiest times. The individuals assigned to the patrol division are the most visible members of the department, providing safety and security to the residents of Cedar City. When not answering calls for service, officers are responsible for self-initiated activity in enforcing our criminal and traffic laws or preventing crime through their interaction with the public.
